Come join Northwest Indiana Pagan Pride for a family-friendly Beltane Picnic filled with community, joy, and celebration of the season! Event is rain or shine.📅 Saturday, May 2nd
⏰ Noon – 6:00 PM
📍 Big Maple Lake Shelters (A Deep River County Park location)
📌 7302 Ainsworth Rd, Hobart, Indiana
💲Cost: $5 Per Adult or $20 for a Family of 2 Adults with more than 2 children under 17 y.o.)

🌼 NWIPP Will Provide:
💧 Water
☀️ Iced Beltane Sun Tea
🍋 Lemonade
🍔 Burgers, Hot Dogs & Buns
🌱 Vegetarian option: Frozen Impossible Burger patties (please bring vegan cheese & mayo for yourself if you would like)
🥗 Guests Please Bring:
• A dish or snack to share & 1 BIG bag of ice
• A beverage if you’d like something other than what’s provided
🚫 NO ALCOHOL (per our lease & this is a family event)
• Chairs or a blanket (Picnic tables and 2 shelters are available)
🚫 NO PETS ALLOWED

• Beltane Ritual
• Maypole Dance
• Drum Circle & Meditation
• Flower Crown & Wand Crafting (for adults & children alike)
• Offerings to the Fae
• Nature Walk “Seek-Out” Kids Scavenger Hunt
• Faux Fire Jumping
• Bean Bag Toss
• Optional: Dress in Beltane fashion — the May Queen and Green Man will be crowned!
🔮 Divination Offering:
If you would like to bring a form of divination to offer fellow picnic-goers for fun, please feel free to do so.
✨ No money may be exchanged — this is an act of devotion.
This is a relaxed, welcoming gathering to celebrate Beltane with community, nature, and joy. Families, friends, and all paths are welcome 🌸
