We will be focusing on Get Out the Vote initiatives at this meeting. We will have representatives from The League of Women Voters, The League of Conservation Voters and For Our Future. Learn how you can get involved. The second half of our meeting will include entertainment by Singing Resistance Grand Rapids. Come and sing along with them! We will also be launching our Rock the Vote effort where we will be painting palm-sized rocks with the single word VOTE. The plan is to create a massive inventory of VOTE rocks over the next few months and then release those rocks on July 25 into the greater Grand Rapids area. Bring your friends to this fun event and paint some rocks.
Childcare will be available during the meeting. If you plan to bring any children, please email us at [email protected] with your child's name and age so we can staff appropriately. There is no cost for childcare but you need to let us know you need it.
Please collect palm-sized flat rocks between now and the meeting and bring them with you. We will provide the paints. We will also have beer and wine and feel free to bring a snack to share!
