May 2023 Children's Holiday Club

We are offering free school holiday activities during the May half term holidays for children aged 8 - 17. These camps are inclusive but we do have a focus on providing activities that support young people with Special educational needs.

There will be a range of activities available including:

• Sport and Physical Activity – Football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, Boccia, wheelchair sports, cycling, walking, keep fit.
• Gaming
• Art and Crafts
• Healthy Eating
• Music - Singing
• Walks in Sefton Park and use of play facilities within the park.

All children will receive a free lunch and snacks on the days they attend.

FREE places available for young people accessing benefit related free school meals. If we do not receive enough interest then we will open up bookings to more young people and expand the criteria for free places.

Sessions are inclusive and so activities are suitable for children with SEN or additional needs. Please contact us to discuss this further, but please note that our staff/volunteers cannot provide any personal care such as toileting or clothes changing. We will contact any participnats who indicate that they have SEND/disabilities in order to establish there full participation needs.

Greenbank endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment. Staff and volunteers are DBS checked, and where a DBS cannot be performed we ensure that they are not supervising children alone.

Please note: If you have more than one child to register onto the Children's Holiday Club, you will need to register them in separate transactions. This is to minimise the information you have to input when registering on a selection of dates.

Important: If your child cannot attend for any of the days that you have booked them onto, please ensure that you cancel the order as soon as possible. This will allow us to offer the place to someone else who could benefit from attending the club.
