The last time I played ISCO was back in September with my buddies in Evening Sky and I’m excited to head back there for a mini monthly residency starting on May 17th! Each month I’ll be playing with a different lineup of musicians and will have a few friends along to open the shows. These shows will run from 6-9pm and has no cover so you can come on out, have a relaxing drink with us after work, and you’re not out too late!
The first one on May 17 I’ll be joined by Gino Rosati, Joe Potenza and Eric Hastings who make up 3/4 of Evening Sky. I have long loved playing with these guys, they’re not only some of my favorite musicians to play with but some of my favorite people to hang out on a gig with.

Ben Shaw is a Rhode Island based Americana/Folk singer and songwriter whose unique voice stretches over a wide range of music. His authentic, sincere performances feature heartfelt stories, infectious melodies, intricate lyrics, witty banter, and well-crafted songs that explore myriad faces of hope and heartache.
He has been a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition as well as received multiple nominations in Motif Magazine’s Music Awards for Best Singer/Songwriter, Best Americana Vocalist, and Best Album.

Hailing from Providence Rhode Island, Vaughn Ramsey is a freelance performing guitarist, now embarking on a solo songwriting career. Vaughn Ramsey’s sound is inspired by country greats such as Willie Nelson and Emmylou Harris, and folk rock artists like Paul Simon and Jim Croce.
