About this Event
Healthcare costs in the U.S. have climbed sharply in recent decades, straining patients, employers and public budgets. Even as the nation spends nearly twice as much per person as other wealthy countries, Americans lag behind their peers on life expectancy and other key health measures.
At a Health News Illinois panel on May 11, experts will break down what’s driving healthcare costs and what’s being done to address it.
Panelists:
- Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet
- Dr. Alvia Siddiqi, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Health Care Service Corporation
Additional panelists to be named soon.
PARKING: Parking is available at 333 S Clinton Street, which is connected to the building. Metered street parking is available but limited, and SpotHero reservations are also an option in the surrounding area.
