Instructor's Bio
Maximiliano “Maxi” Cristiani is the 2013 World Tango Salon Champion and 2012 Buenos Aires Metropolitan Champion in both Tango and Milonga categories. He placed second at the 2013 World Tango Championship in Escenario. His stage and film creations include Angel, Tangostory, Tigre Viejo, and Recuerdo. A former protégé of Osvaldo Zotto, he studied with many leading masters of the 1990s. Known for elegance and precision, his teaching emphasizes autonomy, function, and comfort within both classical and modern structures of Argentine tango.
Josefina was born in Argentina in 1987. She started her studies in dance and theater at 6 years old. When she was 17 years old, she began her studies in Tango, she participated in independent theater companies, and she directed her first musical piece. In 2011 she began to travel and teach workshops at International Tango Festivals around Europe with numerous worldwide known dancers, choreographers, producers such as Leonardo Cuello, Dana Frigoli, and more. In the past two years 2024-2025, she organized Tango Training Retreats and immersive experiences in the city of Buenos Aires, overseeing full production and curating both artists and master teachers
