Alpha Kappa will be hosting their annual NakLand Children's Carnival on the MSU campus on 8/11, and MaxFund will be attending with our beloved mobile adoptions van. Stop by to meet our adorable, adoptable animals--you might just find your new best friend!
Some information from the carnival's event page:
"NAKLand is a free children’s carnival that is hosted on the campus of the respective chapter’s university. NAKLand is an event that is open to the community to attend free of charge in celebration of Día del Niño (children’s day) celebrated in Mexico in April.
At our NAKLand we love to provide many inflatable games, carnival games, and helpful resources for the families in attendance. NAKLand has a motto of saying “Every kid is a winner!”
Our mission for this is to plant the inspiration for the younger generation into pursuing higher education after graduating from high school. We also give out free books, and resources for parents that may need help with their kids that are troubled, possible opportunities to get money for groceries, and any potential assistance that they may need as a family. NAKLand is to praise the children as they have the power to shape the future and are capable of many great things, we as the older generations have to pave the way for them to show them that Si Se Puede!"
