Der virtuose Kontrabassist und Komponist Max Johnson präsentiert sein neuestes Trio mit Anna Webbe und Michael Sarin mit Musik aus ihrem neuen Album Orbit of Sound. Die drei Musiker*innen haben bereits mit Künstlern wie John Zorn, Anthony Braxton, Mark Dresser, Jen Shyu, William Parker und Simon Nabatov zusammengearbeitet. Das Projekt hebt die individuellen Klänge und Erfahrungen ihrer drei einzigartigen Stimmen hervor, in dem sie ihre atemberaubende Musik auf ihre ganz eigene Weise interpretieren.

Virtuoso Double Bassist and Composer Max Johnson presents his newest trio with Anna Webber (saxophone, flute), and Michael Sarin (drumset), performing music from their new forthcoming album „Orbit of Sound“. Between the three of them, they have worked with artists such as John Zorn, Anthony Braxton, Mark Dresser, Jen Shyu, William Parker, Simon Nabatov, and this project highlights the individual sounds and experiences of these three unique voices, as they interpret this breathtaking music in a singular way that is truly their own.
