Comedian and artist Max Wittert presents a tantric multi-night run of his life's work for Max Gala. This evening of performance and visual spectacle promises to be nothing short of one hour, plus however much more time he needs. Come enjoy the fruits of his labor, but chew quietly and try not to get any crumbs anywhere. This is a GALA, after all. Sort of.
Bio:
Max Wittert is a comedian and illustrator from Los Angeles.
Performance credits include Hacks (HBO), High Maintenance (HBO), Comedy Central, and Fantasmas (HBO). Animation credits include shorts created for Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and Ziwe (FX). As a comedian, he has been featured in Clusterfest 2019, and Blue Heaven Festival in 2020, and New York Comedy Festival throughout the years. Max combines his drawings with his performance, and his one-man illustrated comedy hour “I Can Steal Your Mother” has sold out on tour in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and more. He writes, draws, and animates from Brooklyn.
