Viking power and strength is please to announce that we will be bringing back out Max lift competition. This will be a fun competition day with the opportunity to max out and hit new PBs during the start of the season. It’s always great to lift in the competition atmosphere and test you strength.
The atmosphere will be big, the music will be loud and the lifts will be heavy.
All abilities are welcome, this is a day to test yourself and beat your best.
There will be two lifts on the day in rising bar format. Meaning you DO NOT have to nominate lifts, you can skip a weight and reattempt a lift.
You can complete every lift or skip them.
We will start with overhead press then move to deadlift.
Overhead press will be the axle press or log lift. You choose
Deadlift will be on a deadlift bar.
2 categories. Male and female. Trophies for top 3 in each category.
1 trophies for the lifter of the day which will be voted for by the Viking power and strength committee.
