MAVRC Spouses and Dependents Affinity Goup

In Fall 2021, Military and Veteran Services will start hosting the MAVRC Affinity Groups [Military and Veteran Resource Center Affinity Groups] to build fellowship and networking among students, faculty and staff, and individuals in the community. The support groups will be free and open to the public to bring together the military-affiliated community, and connect this population with resources and services for personal and professional development. The affinity groups will meet monthly with the exception of January, May, August, and December.

The following affinity groups that will be offered on campus:

• Veterans of Color Affinity Group
• Women Veterans Affinity Group
• LGBTQIA+ Veterans Affinity Group
• Disabled Veterans Affinity Group
• Spouses and Dependents Affinity Group
