Headed by guitar-wielding, band leader Troll Garcia, the Pranksters performances and spirit serve as a powerful catalyst, creating a joyous, judgement free environment that breaks through todays pop culture and declares all are welcome and love and community are paramount.Its a continuation of the culture fostered by Ken Keseys Merry Pranksters, the Warlocks, Grateful Dead and Deadheads, and a recognition of the wonderful opportunity provided by the foundation of Hawaiʻi and Maui communities, aloha.In recent years, the Maui Pranksters headlight has grown bright, shining through Mauis mountain rains and deep valleys in grand fashion thanks to countless shows, including escapades at Joey Electrics glorious New Years Eve parties, that have left the coconut wireless fully lit.
