Free Mattress & Box Spring Recycling EventNorth Lincoln Sanitary is hosting this special collection event for Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and North Lincoln County residents on Saturday, June 6th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Recycling Center (1726 SE Hwy 101, Lincoln City, OR 97367).
This event is made possible by MRC’s Bye Bye Mattress program, which offers new, more convenient options to recycle these bulky items without paying dump fees.
What: Residents can recycle mattresses and box springs for free at the North Lincoln Sanitary Recycling Center Mattress Recycling Event, thanks to an Oregon state law that took effect last year and the Mattress Recycling Council’s Bye Bye Mattress program.
Eligible items include: mattress & box springs only. Any type of construction or condition.
Ineligible items include: Air mattresses, crib mattresses, and other bedding-related products and furniture are not eligible for recycling, but can be accepted at the Schooner Creek Refuse Transfer Station for a charge.
