MATTIE & DEBBIE is one of the great duos of their generation.
Comprised of two of the most unique talents to come out of the acoustic music scene, drummer/singer Sean Trischka and Bluegrass guitarist/singer Stash Wyslouch are a whole greater than the sum of their parts.
Satan’s Junction, their debut album to be released April 2026 weaves intimate space and luscious harmonies with bluegrass pickin', top-40 hooks, and a slew of powerful anthems to get the whole family singing. Surely a kitchen sink of sound held together by an indescribable thread of musical intimacy, humor, knowledge, and experience.
They’re one of the few groups to open for Billy Strings and Mr String’s words are sure to echo in your mind after seeing this couple of rabblerousing sweethearts:

Sean and Stash cut their teeth playing together, both as sidemen and bandleaders, in many different bluegrass/roots/folk/rock formations since 2013: The Deadly Gentlemen, Tony Trischka’s Early Roman Kings, The Stash Band, and Corporate Punk, to name a few.
Individually speaking:
Jersey boy Sean Trischka is an instinctive and sought-after drummer, songwriter, and singer with a musicality that relies on warmth, pocket, and a sense of playfulness. He has collaborated with a variety of notable artists and bands including Carsie Blanton, Mipso, Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Co), Bertha AKA Grateful Drag, Lula Wiles, and The Stray Birds.
Stash Wyslouch is an iconoclastic Bluegrass flatpicker whose style is instantly recognizable incorporating any and all influences. He's played with Molsky's Mountain Drifters, The Jacob Jolliff Band and shared the stage with the likes of Julian Lage, Bryan Sutton, Peter Rowan and David Grisman.
