Long-time Iowa singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Iowa Rock-and-Roll Hall of Famer Matt Terronez will release his long-awaited debut album, Tell Me A Story, on February 27, 2026, via all major streaming platforms.

A 10-song collection of warm, genre-blending pop/pop-jazz storytelling, Tell Me A Story showcases Terronez’ distinctive, soulful baritone voice, richly layered arrangements, and deeply visual lyrics. The album moves effortlessly between energetic pop and subtle jazz textures while maintaining a cohesive emotional core.

Highlights include:
• “Fear of Falling” featuring shared lead vocals with Kathryn Fox (The Weary Ramblers)
• The driving, hook-forward single “True Love”
• A hypnotic reinterpretation of “Blackbird” (Lennon/McCartney)
• “Too Much TV” featuring acclaimed Iowa guitarist Craig Erickson
• “Eyes of A Child” featuring Dave Ducharme (Ducharme-Jones)

Self-produced, arranged, recorded, and predominantly performed by Terronez, the album features nine original songs and one cover, reflecting a deeply personal yet widely relatable exploration of love, memory, and the moments that shape us.
