Band Bio:Matt Kampe & The Hub is a high-energy funk, rock, and soul fusion band led by Berklee-trained multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Matt Kampe. Inspired by D’Angelo, Jamiroquai, and Stevie Wonder, their groove-driven originals and genre-blending collaborations come alive through shared vocals, rotating artists, and spontaneous on-stage creativity.
Their debut EP, To Be Wanted (2025), is streaming now, with a full-length album on the way. Beyond the stage, the band builds community through The CT Music Hub Collective and House of Artistic Unity, creating a true “hub” for diverse musical talent and live performance magic. They are also a wedding/event band specializing in providing different genres, tributes, and themes for specific events; including some specialty burlesque and comedic variety shows they have put on locally.
The band is managed and directed by Matt Kampe and his fiancé Cali, who is part of their multi-instrumental live-looping cocktail duo, Lady & The Kampe.
