Matreshka u Okoshka

After the show, the audience members will be invited to the foyer to enjoy Eastern European sweet treats and kompot, traditional berry drink.

This spring, we are excited to present a new children’s theater experience celebrating Eastern European culture — Matryoshka u Okoshka .
A magical, interactive show created especially for young audiences and their families.

Children will enjoy a 45-minute theatrical performance, directed by Evgenia Zeller and produced by Evgeniya Orudzheva, featuring beloved traditional Russian characters and the iconic Matryoshka doll.

Through engaging storytelling, music, and movement, the show gently teaches children:

• teamwork and cooperation
• community building
• helping and supporting one another

Along the way, the characters face playful challenges — including an exciting and funny bear chase that keeps young viewers fully engaged.

At the end of the performance, children will be invited to dance together on stage to traditional songs, turning the theater into a joyful shared experience.
