Maths Open Days 2026 - Saturday 2 May

You have the option to book either:

1) an 'Open College + Faculty' ticket, to visit any independently-advertised College event in the morning and attend the Faculty Open Day in the afternoon,

or, for some Colleges only:

2) a joint 'Named College + Faculty' ticket, to attend that closed-number College Open Day in the morning, have lunch in College*, then attend the Faculty Open Day in the afternoon.

Please select only one ticket type, if you register for more than one ticket we will contact you to choose which ticket to use. If you select a 'Named College + Faculty' ticket, you will only be able to attend that College's events in the morning.

*Most, but not all, Colleges offer lunch as part of their events included in the joint 'Named College + Faculty' tickets, for further details please read the description for each ticket option.

You will then be able to select one of the following sessions to attend:

Taster Session 1 - 2pm to 3:30pm (Centre for Mathematical Sciences, MR2)

Taster Session 2 - 3:30pm to 5:10pm (Centre for Mathematical Sciences, MR2)

The sessions are the same: each contains mathematical talks to give you a taste of maths at university, and an introduction to STEP. Please note that these sessions are only for students.

There are also the following activities in the Faculty, for which you don’t need to book:

• A talk especially aimed at parents/carers, teachers welcome too, from 2pm to 3pm, repeated from 3:40pm to 4:40pm
• Interview practice with current students (in MR5) (students only)
• STEP practice with current students (in MR4) (students only)
• ‘Drop-in’ with staff and current students (in the Central Core), for you to ask any questions you have.
