Day 1: Number Quest - MTR Money Mystery 💰
Help a lost tourist navigate Mong Kok while mastering whole numbers, decimals, and money calculations! Teams will tackle a thrilling challenge using an "HK Adventure Map," rolling dice for random events and crafting colorful "receipt posters" to showcase their budgeting skills. Who will earn the title of "Math Traveller"?
Day 2: Geometry Galaxy - Build Hong Kong Skyline 🌌
The iconic skyline is hidden in a magic fog! Teams will explore 2D and 3D shapes, calculate perimeters and areas, and discover symmetry while constructing mini skyscrapers from recyclables. Let’s see whose design reigns supreme during our gallery walk as we crown the "Geometry Architect"! 📐
Day 3: Fraction Fiesta - Dim Sum Division Delight 🥟
It’s time to share 12 steamed buns among 5 hungry family members with a 10% service charge! Students will create their own dim sum menu posters, tackle fraction problems, and learn to convert between fractions, decimals, and percentages. Share your colorful creations and earn the title of "Fraction Chef"! 👩🍳
Day 4: Measurement Mission - Star Ferry Speed Challenge 🚤
Can the Star Ferry outpace the MTR across Victoria Harbour? In this thrilling challenge, teams will measure distances, calculate travel times, and plot mini travel graphs. Present your findings and celebrate the "fastest route" winner while earning your "Data Detective" badge! 🔍
Day 5: Algebra Adventure - Escape the Peak Tram Trap 🔑
A mysterious code is locking the Peak Tram! Solve math clues and escape-room-style puzzles using algebraic expressions and equations. Teams will collect "tram tokens" for correct answers, culminating in a final "escape key" poster. Let’s share our solutions and celebrate all "Math Detectives"! 🕵️♂️
