A sociable and teacher led art class for adults to learn about different materials by exploring the work of the artist Matisse.

Materials to Matisse will take place on Tuesday, 19th & 26th November and 3rd December 2024 from 6.30 until 8.30pm , at RE-Imagine, 107/109 Belle Vue Rd.

OVERVIEW
A perfect opportunity for adults to explore different materials by exploring the work of the artist Matisse.
Learn a little more about how to use acrylics, watercolours and collage to create colourful and vibrant artwork in response to the French artist, who made work at the turn of the 20th century.
Learn how to compose an image, select and mix colours and explore the range of mark-making in response to the artists work to create your own stunning masterpiece.
Perfect for beginners of all abilities , guarantee that you will leave with more confidence, experience and skills o approach your own work or join some more Creativate classes where you can develop your own ideas and projects.
Tuesday 19th - Watercolours

Tuesday 3rd - Collage.
FACILITATOR
I'm Mel and I will be facilitating the sessions. I am a qualified art and photography teacher with 25 years experience of Art Facilitation. I'm fully insured and DBS checked and have worked with a huge range of abilities. My aim is always to create a supportive, encouraging and inspiring environment. Perfect for socialising over a cuppa and a natter, while making some fabulous work.
