Matchbox Mixer

Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. It’s also the same technology behind the Marriage Pact, tradition at 100+ universities that's matched more than half a million people to date.

How it works:
The most important first step in dating: show up! We'll be at the coziest cocktail bar in Seattle, the NOOK, sipping whiskey and waiting for love.

Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists.

The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.

After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!

Ticket Includes:
Admission for the cocktail bar and access to the matching experience.

To ensure every person gets a proper match, we ask that every attendee brings a single +1 of the gender that they are interested in! Grab that friend-zoned situationship and help them find a better situation.

If you're struggling to find that person, reach out; we'll find someone else with the same problem.

If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.

Please be on time! The mixer isn't complete without you.
7:00pm—the event begins, bar opens, surveys begin
8:00pm—doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches
8:30pm—a series of clues
9:00pm—matches revealed
9:30pm—after party (optional)
