This special community event offers an opportunity for whānau to come together, share stories, and celebrate the Matariki season through film, connection and conversation.
Set in rural Aotearoa during the 1980s, Boy is a heartwarming and humorous coming-of-age story that has become one of New Zealand's most beloved films. Suitable for all ages, the screening provides a welcoming space for families, friends, and community members to gather and enjoy an afternoon at Hollywood Avondale.
The event also includes complimentary popcorn, courtesy of Hollywood Avondale.
