DEPOT Artspace is delighted to announce our upcoming and highly-anticipated annual Matariki exhibition - ‘Ruaruawhetū – Weaving Design Celebrating the Stars’.Guest-curated by Terehia Walker, this exhibition features work from 17 artists, spanning individual and collectively-produced raranga (weaving). Coming from across the motu, the artists will also share their knowledge of raranga through an Artist Talk, Curator’s Kōrero and a series of weaving workshops.
Please join us on Saturday 14 June, 2-4pm for the exhibition opening and an artist talk. This is a great opportunity to meet our exhibiting artists and enjoy some lovely refreshments.
