~ Masters Workshop @ DCSX 2025 ~"From Basic to Wow!"🤩

Join Masters/All Star instructor Adela Su, and other Masters dancers, to work on making your basics more advanced, more interesting and more noticeable for those who compete. We’ll work on patterns, sequences and variations that either the leader can initiate or the follower can encourage/request, with options for different skill levels, which will instantly elevate your dancing and partnerships! Will be similar in format to our Masters Workshops at Swing Fling, MADjam and Michigan Classic. If there is something you'd like covered, dance or discussion, comment below or send a PM ASAP so I can try to incorporate it into class!😉✅
Skill Requirement: you should have solid basics. Pushes (inc. front/sugar tuck), passes (inc. spinning side pass and passing tuck) and whip.
So get up early and join us ~ coffee and a yummy GF breakfast treat (limited amount) provided!☕🍩🍞
And, while this is titled for Masters (50+) dancers, if you're NOT a Masters age dancer and you'd like to attend ... well, let's just say we won't be checking IDs at the door and the content is applicable to everyone!😉✅💃🕺⚓️

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Adela Su is a Masters/All Star dancer and competitor who has been teaching in Charlottesville/Central Virginia for 25+ years with a fondness for technique/drills instruction. She, along with husband Eddie (Advanced/Masters) offers private lessons, holds group classes and hosts the occasional dance. At The Open Swing Dance Championships in 2022, they were the recipients of the first Masters Community Inspiration Award. Adela is also a GPDIA certified dance instructor, judge, long-time volunteer (including past-President/Board of Director) with the Charlottesville Swing Dance Society (CSDS), and volunteer (Ombudsman Committee/Chair, Events Committee, Hall of Fame Committee) with the World Swing Dance Council (WSDC). Eddie + Adela study with the top professionals to improve their dancing and for teacher training, and enjoy sharing their knowledge and experiences with others.
