Event Description:
Join us at the historic Fairfax Grange for a half-day photography workshop featuring two renowned local photographers, Felix Adamo and Kristopher Stallworth, with John Harrer as the moderator. This unique workshop will offer hands-on learning and expert insights into various photography styles and techniques.
Instructor Bios:
Felix Adamo
With a career spanning forty years, Felix Adamo has made a name for himself as a distinguished photojournalist in California’s Central Valley. Felix has covered a broad range of events, from daily life in Bakersfield to monumental occasions like the 1984 Olympics and the 1992 Los Angeles riots. His work has been published internationally through the Associated Press, and he retired as the chief photographer for The Bakersfield Californian. Felix continues working on personal projects specializing in live music events and motorcycles.
Kristopher Stallworth
Kristopher Stallworth has influenced a generation of Bakersfield photographers as professor and now dean of the Bakersfield College Art Department. And he is not only a teacher, his photographic eye has an innovative approach, especially when it comes to landscapes. Kristopher’s passion for teaching and his approachable style make him a sought-after speaker in photography circles.
