Instructor: Beth deVitry
Skill Level: All/Intermediate – soldering and sawing skills suggested
This class is for students who want an in depth look at setting gems or enamels into bezels. We will be working with fine silver and sterling silver to make a jewelry piece of your design. Design considerations, bezel height and gem limitations will be discussed. Students will learn to fine tune their soldering skills, ring fabrication and surface pattern or texture. Students may bring their own gems or a limited selection of gems will be provided.
Students should bring pencil and paper, magnification (optivisor or readers) if they have them.
Please note that a materials fee of $50 is due to the instructor at the time of the class.
