Rejection is one of the most activating human experiences.
A text not answered.
A partner pulling away.
A no instead of a yes.
For many of us, rejection does not just hurt - it destabilizes us.
In this workshop, we explore rejection not as a problem to avoid, but as a doorway into emotional maturity.
Because mastering rejection is not about becoming numb.
It is about learning to stay grounded when you are not chosen, and maybe even celebrate that you went for what you wanted?
Ultimately this workshop is about self-love.
THE THEORY BEHIND
Rejection is not only psychological. It is biological.
From an attachment perspective, rejection can wake up old experiences of separation. As children, losing connection did not just hurt, it threatened safety. So the nervous system learned to react strongly to signals of being unwanted.
From a polyvagal perspective, rejection can trigger autonomic survival responses. Some people go into fight or flight, anger, defensiveness, urgency to win the person back. Others go into shutdown, shame, collapse, withdrawal, numbness. These reactions are not flaws, they are protective strategies.
However, the good news is that for an adult when old wounds are not repeated, rejection doesn’t need to hurt, or it hurts a little but passes. Without fear of rejection we can instead go for what we want and live more in alignment.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
For you who are curious about revealing the deeper layers behind emotions and reactions and step onto the path of healing even though it might awaken old hurt along the way.
CAN I JOIN AS A BEGINNER?
This workshop is open for anyone who feels secure enough to hold the triggers and emotions that might surface.
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
No need to bring a partner. There will be some group exercises and some partnered exercises. If you wish, you can bring a partner and stay with them during the partnered exercises.
DRESSCODE
Wear something comfortable that you can move around freely in.
WHAT TO BRING
Water bottle with a lid and possibly a notebook.
TIMES
Doors open at 12.30 for you to arrive and land softly.
We start at 13:00, doors close and it is not possible to arrive later.
We end at 17:00
Seeing as it is the Thursday of the easter holiday, we are taking advantage of the day time.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Li Tadaa is a renowned workshop leader in Europe, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a dancer, and a Lust Coach with more than 15 years of experience in movement and embodiment.
Li’s knowledge of dance and routes to pleasure from traditions around the globe is combined with an understanding of the nervous system, dance therapy, somatic trauma healing, shamanism, and meditation practices.
Through her Dance Into Your Lust and Grow Up programs, Li has helped over a thousand people reconnect with their inner safety, pleasure, and adult selves.
