Mastering Pink & White Aesethetics:
Where Aesthetic Vision Meets Biological Mastery
There are moments in a clinician’s journey when technique is no longer enough.
When you realise that beautiful ceramics alone do not create harmony.
True aesthetic excellence happens at the intersection of restorative precision and periodontal intelligence.
This two day intensive with special focus hands on component is designed for dentists who are ready to elevate how they think, diagnose and execute smile makeovers. The focus here is not only on the white aesthetics but pink aesthetics as well.
We are genuinely excited to host Dr David Montalvo for the first time in Australia. Seats are intentionally limited to maintain depth of discussion and interaction.
DAY 1: COMPREHENSIVE LECTURE
This comprehensive program is designed to give clinicians a complete, structured approach to smile makeovers integrating aesthetic restorative dentistry with perioplastic surgical principles to achieve predictable, high-level outcomes.
Across the lecture, participants will gain a deep understanding of the biological, aesthetic, and functional considerations that underpin successful smile design. From initial consultation and diagnosis through to execution, the course focuses on a protocol-driven workflow that enhances predictability, efficiency, and communication across interdisciplinary teams.
You’ll explore the key aesthetic periodontal parameters that define an ideal smile, alongside the anatomy of periodontal tissues to better anticipate biological responses to restorative treatment. A strong emphasis is placed on diagnosing and managing common aesthetic challenges such as gummy smiles and gingival recession, with clear frameworks for selecting the most appropriate treatment approach for each case.
The program also walks through a step-by-step protocol for predictable smile makeovers covering preparation design, provisionalisation, impressions, material selection, lab communication, and final cementation — ensuring every stage of treatment is executed with precision.
On the surgical side, the lecture introduces the principles of perioplastic surgery for smile enhancement, including aesthetic crown lengthening techniques, lip stabilisation, and recession management using modern approaches such as tunnelling and connective tissue grafting.
By combining restorative and surgical disciplines, this course equips clinicians with the skills to:
- Diagnose aesthetic concerns with clarity and confidence
- Plan and execute comprehensive smile makeovers using a structured workflow
- Select and perform appropriate surgical and restorative interventions
- Improve communication with specialists for interdisciplinary cases
- Deliver more predictable, natural, and long-lasting aesthetic outcomes
This is a complete, real-world approach to modern smile design — where biology, aesthetics, and technique come together to elevate clinical results.
DAY 2:
Hands-On Model Training — Practical Application
Where planning meets execution.
This hands-on session allows you to apply smile design and perioplastic concepts on 3D models refining preparation, provisionalisation, and soft tissue techniques in a controlled environment.
You’ll practice crown lengthening, tissue management, and veneer workflows, building confidence and precision before treating live patients.
A focused, practical experience to ensure you can deliver not just understand high-level aesthetic outcomes.
