Aim – Aimed at anyone hoping to keep their bike maintained with the bare minimum of tools. This knowledge will save you £££ as you do your own repairs and keep your bike running smoothly.
Ages 12 to adult please.
Covers
• Mending a puncture / replacing a tube / Use of QR lever.
• Checking and adjusting a headset / Straightening handlebars
• Achieving the right fit – set brake levers, adjust handlebar height, set saddle height.
• Adjusting brakes – v-brake and/or disc brake
• Changing brake pads
• Adjusting gear indexing and limit screws
And cleaning/lubing if time allows!
We’ll meet at the container and will have gazebos if it is drizzly..
Bring your bike and a drink and plenty of warm clothes in case we’re working outdoors. Tools will be provided.
