This workshop will fine-tune your ability to communicate effortlessly with your partner, adapt to any song, and move with confidence and control.
What is Fusion Dance?
Fusion dance blends elements from blues, tango, swing, and other styles allowing dancers to adapt seamlessly to different rhythms. Fusion focuses on connection, musicality, and shared momentum. Micro fusion refines this concept by using controlled isolations, lag, pulse, and weight shifts to create expressive, close-contact movements.
What You’ll Learn:

🔥 12:15-1:10pm • Frame & Connection Principles – Build a comfortable, adaptable frame for micro fusion and fine-tune your stance, counterbalance, and floor pressure.
🔥 1:15-2:10pm • Invitation, Acceptance & Denial – Gain confidence in setting boundaries and responding to close embrace invitations with clarity and ease.
🔥 2:15-3:15pm • Scaling Movements Down – Master small yet powerful micro movements, isolations, and rhythmic changes that enhance connection and musicality.
