About this Event

This is a special, fundraising event and Kenny is donating his time to help raise funds for our community cookery groups. Thank you all for your support.

Learn essential cooking techniques and garnishes using beautiful, sustainable local fish & seafood. We will create seasonal dishes which can be easily replicated at home for you and your family and friends to enjoy.

Kenny will share his knowledge on fish selection, seasonality, filleting & knife skills, professional flavour combinations and chef's cooking techniques and tips.

Then he will join you with a specially matched wine as you enjoy your meal at the end of this one-off Masterclass.

A sample menu for the class:

  • Pan Cooked Sussex Hake, Mussels & Fregola Pasta

Fish types and garnishes may change due to seasonal availability and local landings to ensure the freshest and most sustainable product.

About Kenny

Kenny Tutt came to culinary fame when he won the BBC’s MasterChef competition in 2018. The son of market traders, he spent years cooking by his mother's side and learning to appreciate flavours and cookery techniques. Now he owns Pitch, a fine dining restaurant in his hometown of Worthing, as well as Bayside Social, a more relaxed seafront restaurant, and a popular unit at Brighton's Shelter Hall food market. He is always inspired by his Sussex surroundings, and the fantastic produce available on our doorstep.
