Composing and finding your inner voice
For me composing has played a major part and been an important key to find my own voice and expression in jazz. We're gonna look into different styles and techniques with my own compositions as examples and talk about how you can use various methods to canalis your ideas into music.
Fanny Gunnarsson is a Swedish piano player, vocalist and composer who writes lyrical and beautiful music with a hint of melancholy. She was awarded best Jazz Vocal Album of 2017 by the Swedish music Journal LIRA.
The masterclass is hosted in collaboration between The Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg and JAZZ9TUS, and is part of the international guest programme supported by Aalborg Kommune and Statens Kunstfond.
