Emma will introduce the day with insights on how managing stress can help balance hormones throughout a woman’s journey. This mini-workshop promises to enlighten and empower.
9:20 AM - The Power of Strength Training for Women: Dive into a 55-minute strength training session with Chaz Monaghan, founder of OC Health Clubs. This workout, specifically curated for women, will showcase the significant impact of strength training on hormonal health. Chaz will share his expertise, highlighting how strength training can be a pivotal tool for hormonal balance.
10:15 AM - Mastering Your Hormones through Nutrition Workshop: Joni Hammington from "It's Good For You" leads this enlightening workshop. Savor a nutritious and delicious smoothie as Joni shares essential nutritional building blocks for women at any stage of life. Learn how to listen to and regulate your hormones with practical advice and tips for a healthier you.
11:00 AM - Choice of Pilates Reformer Elongate or Stretch Class: After ramping up the good stress with morning strength training, choose to unwind with a Pilates Reformer Elongate or Stretch class at Align Studios at Remarkables Park. This session is designed to calm your nervous system and prepare you for the reflective final gathering of the day.
12:15 PM - Final Circle, Reflection, and Learning Around Hormones: Gather one last time at Align Studio Space for a session led by Emma Ferris and Emma Cochrane. Reflect on the day’s learning and experiences as we discuss practical tools, changes, or habits you might want to adopt to shift your hormonal health and take control. This is a time for sharing, learning, and embedding the wisdom of the mini-retreat into your life.
