Join Master Gardeners to get ready for spring planting and other gardening activities! At the Shasta College Farm in Room 4000.Workshop topics will cover gardening in containers, planting blueberries, house plants 101, growing succulents, composting with worms, attracting pollinators, and vertical gardens.
The workshop will feature three sessions of classes that last about 40 minutes each, and participants will be able to select topics for each session. There is a $5 charge to cover materials and seeds.
There will be on-site soil analysis for soil samples.
Master Gardeners are also sponsoring a Plant Swap after the workshop. Participants swap seeds or plant starts for plants/seeds that they need. For those without seeds/plants to swap, Master Gardeners will also have some seeds to share with participant. Bring healthy cuttings and plant starts in a plastic bag or place them in water to participate in a plant swap.
