Art imitates life. Or perhaps it’s the other way around.This dual notion haunts the often enigmatic, sometimes unsettling photography of Francesca Woodman(1958-1981), who jumped to her death in 1981 at age 22.
Her dark, enigmatic self-portraits, intimate and poetic landscapes she created with her body in mysterious abandoned places served as a starting point for creation of a dialog between image, sound, and movement.
Dive into a moment when objects, dance, music by piano and electronics meet for storytelling. 1/2/3 is a 360 degree performance divided into 6 chapters, corresponding to the images taken by Woodman.
