About this Event
We are partnering with (ENYF!) and for a Master Composter Networking Event at the East New York Youth Farm to meet up and share your experiences in composting with other like-minded Master Composter trainees and graduates. There will be light snacks and a selection of non-alcoholic refreshments provided. Expect games, exciting raffle prizes and special events detailed below!
- 4pm: ENYF! Staff will lead a tour of the Compost Site [for certificate credit]
- 5pm: 's Domingo Morales and Carlos Rosario will lead a Rodent Reduction workshop. NYC and other big cities have rodent problems. Learn how to use the Rodent Reduction Rubric and become part of the solution. Compost doesn’t bring rats; poor design and broken systems do. We will cover site design, site inspections and best management practices in urban spaces.
- 5:45pm-7pm: More networking + a raffle!
**Registration REQUIRED**
We hope you can make it!
