About this Event
The Honorary Consul of Spain in WA along with Semilla Flamenca, will be hosting 3 different Master Classes with fabulous Sonia Franco on Sunday, October 20th.
(The prior Friday and Saturday before the Master Classes, she will be presenting her show at the Benaroya Show in Seattle. If you are interested in see her on stage, get your tickets at the Benaroya Hall´ s website)
- Master class for NOVICE dancers is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This 1.5 hour Master Class is for anyone who has some level of Flamenco and wants to improve and learn from a professional flamenco dancer. It is also for experienced dancers who want to try Flamenco.
This class will focus on Bulerias.
- Flamenco TECHNIQUE Master class open to everyone (All levels) is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Master class for PROFICIENT dancers is from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This 1.5 hour Masterclass will focus on Guajira con abanico.
This class is for seasoned flamenco dancers who want to challenge their skills.
Abanicos (Hand fans) will be needed. We will have some extra fans available in the class.
Info about the Classroom and how to get there:
We will be using Studio C at Theater Puget Sound (Labeled also 401-C)
Theater Puget Sound is located in the Armory Building in the Seattle Center (It is the one with the food court)
Once you are in the Armory, find the north elevator (Which is NOT the glass elevator in the food court area). Proceed to floor 4th, and from there, turn to your left.
About half way down the hallway, you will find Studio C on your right.
