Experience authentic Salsa Caleña training straight from Cali, Colombia. Join Nelly and Camila (Multiple World Champion Salsa Dancer) for a 3-day Salsa Caleña Intesinve designed to improve your technique, speed, connection and performance skills.

Each day focuses on a core pillar of Salsa Caleña, or save by joining the full event.

On Friday, we will focus on Salsa Caleña footwork.
You will learn:

• Brief Salsa Caleña footwork theory
• Drills to give you fast and powerful footwork, balance and coordination
• Popular and new steps (most step you'll be able to apply to partnerwork)
• Salsa Caleña footwork Choreography
• Musicality with Salsa Caleña

This class will help you feel lighter, faster, and more confident on the dance floor.

On Saturday, we will focus on partnerwork.
You will learn.

• Clear leading and following
• Proper holding your partner technique
• How to prep the follower for a turn
• How to hint the follower a step is coming
• Arm framing for lead and follow
• Transitioning between steps and turns

You will practice timing, connection, and teamwork so your dancing feels strong and natural.

On Sunday, we will focus on Salsa Caleña lifts and tricks.
You will learn:

• Proper warm up and stretching before doing lifts
• Drills to lift your dance partner
• Progressive tricks, We will start with easy tricks and slowly build up as the class progresses
• Classic Cali-style tricks only seen in Cali
• Technique and bases for more tricks

Safety will be explained step by step. This class is great for dancers who want to level up their performance skills and have fundamental bases to learn more tricks in the future.
