MassYR General Meeting

Welcome to the MassYR General Meeting!

Come join us for our annual general meeting where we discuss all things related to our organization. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet candidates for office, share ideas, and get involved in upcoming events. Whether you're a new member or a longtime supporter, we'd love to see you there! Don't miss out on this chance to be a part of the MassYR community.

We will start the event off with special guest speakers (more details to follow) and then move into General Meeting business. At our General Meeting we will consider amendments to the Federation Constitution & Bylaws, resolutions, and elections of officers.

Deadlines:

Proposals for amendments to the Constitution & Bylaws, resolutions to be considered at the convention, and statements of candidacy for open offices (Executive Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, National Committeeman, and National Committeewoman)* are due by 11:59 PM EST on April 30th. Such proposals and statements should be emailed to [email protected]

*Please note that all elected offices of the Federation except that of the Chairman are up for election. The Chairman serves a two-year term.

Tickets:

This event is open to members and non-members of the Massachusetts Federation of Young Republicans. For current or prospective members who are registered Massachusetts Republican voters under the age of 41, your ticket will cover your membership dues for the 2024-2025 cycle (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025)

Eligibility:

Members in good standing are eligible to vote, run for an open office, and participate in the business of the meeting. To be considered a member in good standing, you must be up-to-date on your 2023-2024 membership dues by May10th and have attended at least two MassYR events during the 2023-2024 cycle (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024)
