Live tango is coming back to Detroit!
El Cachivache Orkesta put on an unforgettable show here in 2018, and on October 31 2021 they are back.
About this Event

El Cachivache Orkesta is one of the most popular current tango groups, widely recognized on the world music circuit. Sometimes called 'Tango Punk,' the group is characterized by its undeniably creative, original, and very danceable style. This October they are touring the US and we’re bringing them back to Detroit!

What: Live tango with El Cachivache from Argentina, tango performance by Amanda Accica and Donato Juarez of Argentine Tango Detroit, good DJs, excuse to dress up, fresh empanadas

When: Sunday, October 31

6:30-8 pm: DJ

8-10 pm: Live Music + Live Tango Performance by Amanda and Donato + Burlesque

10-11 pm: DJ

Where: The Jam Handy, a performance and event venue built in 1919, first used as a Baptist Tabernacle and later as a film studio. It is situated in the heart of Detroit on Grand Blvd, in an area with several great restaurants, just a few blocks off of 75 and 94. Parking lot and ample street parking. This place oozes with character, perfect for a masquerade on Halloween with live music!

Food: Rositas Treats will be selling fresh empanadas all night. There is no bar, so bring your own drinks. If you decide to be a Patron, there will also be champagne and dessert to enjoy with El Cachivache!

This must be done when ticket is purchased; there will not be refunds if document cannot be provided. Last dose must have been administered before October 17th. If you have proof of antibodies, you may also send proof of antibodies AND a negative test taken within 72 hours of the event. No exceptions.
