About this Event

Jointly produced by AIA Spokane, CSI Inland NW Rockies, and the Masonry Industry Promotion Group:

Come learn about these unseen workhorses that are hidden behind the beauty of a brick facade. Why we need them, how they are selected, detailed, bid, and built. Bring questions, details, and stories to run by the experts.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand how the contractor and subcontractors look at the drawings for bidding and evaluation of constructability.
  2. Identify the difference between masonry anchors, rebar, and reinvofcement.
  3. Understand how to correctly detail masonry anchors and flashing to avoid RFI's.
  4. Identify the top 3 (5??) things to look at when the masonry submittal is recieved

Hands-On: We've applied flashing and built masonry walls. Now how do we tie the masonry "to" the wall? Come learn from the best in the Northwest at this interactive workshop
