We would love to invite you to our 2025 Masonry Apprentice Expo at Preferred Materials in Bonita Springs May 31st. This event will be host to the 2025 Masonry Apprenticeship Skills Competition. Mason Apprentices from all over the state of Florida will be competing on a masonry project. The winners of this event will go on to represent our state at an international competition in Las Vegas at the World of Concrete next January.
We will also have different stations set up for the public with presentations and information on why it is important to build with masonry construction in Florida. For the more hands on we will have mortar, bricks, blocks, and trowels for anyone to try it themselves. This is a great event for kids to come out and build with students from our local high school masonry clubs. We will even clean up the mess.
Interested in employment opportunities or what will students do after graduation? We will have many different contractors from all over the state that are always looking to add to their workforce.
