Mashpee Women’s Club June 18 luncheon will feature a fashion show presented by J.Jill in Mashpee Commons. Models will be members of the Mashpee Women’s Club, featuring dozens of chic new styles they have chosen from J. Jill. MWC’s annual June event also includes a raffle of beautiful assorted baskets donated by MWC’s members. The luncheon (Cape Cod Chip Encrusted Haddock with Beurre Blanc, Jasmin Rice, Haricot Verts Dessert: Chocolate Cake), will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the New Seabury Country Club. (Doors open at 10:30 a.m. to allow time for the basket raffle.) All attendees will receive a discount coupon for the Mashpee J Jill Store.Each year the proceeds from this popular event are dedicated to MWC’s scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to several Mashpee High School graduates to assist with their college tuition in the coming year. The scholarship winners are selected from applicants from the senior class of Mashpee High School. Mashpee Women’s Club has granted these scholarships to many deserving students over the years,
All are welcome to this event. The cost to register for the luncheon is $60 for members, $75 for non-members. Tables may be reserved for up to 10 (unreserved seats at a table will be offered to other attendees). Reservations must be received by June 11.
