'MASHKOW. ARE U REAL.' Solo NFT Exhibition Opening

The artist invites the viewer to allow him to “take your brain to another dimension.” Mashkow is an accomplished tattoo artist whose signature style is photo-realistic portraiture whose subjects are covered in vandalism akin to any New York City street. The comparison between fine art, tattoos and graffiti in Mashkow’s work becomes apparent as human figures and urban scenes are embellished with tags, stickers and throws. The collection appears as an homage to the vibrance of a raw city existence where one's self and surroundings are decorated up to anyone's discretion.

The exhibition will include a number of 3D animated works with unique soundtracks as well as still pieces featuring tattoo stencil motifs. Select works will also include special bonus content that is only revealed after purchase.

Love for the 80s-90s New York underground culture is what led the Russian artist to the city of dreams where he has created this collection together with “Are u Real” Crew featuring beat maker HEARSE T from England.

Mashkow participated in the first exhibition at the opening of the First Physical NFT Gallery in the world with his work “NFTesla” , which was a headliner and caused a stir in the press. A year later, we organized a solo exhibition of the artist with the gallery.

In his own words, an artist is the creator of his own world. Art is a form of teleportation, frames are non-existent . Music, poetry, fine art, virtual reality - all these are non-interchangeable things, but they are all capable of complementing each other. The artist created NFT’s in which different characters and cultural phenomena collide and harmoniously exist. Regardless of location, language barrier, race or gender - you can collaborate with anyone, create anything "together" even with those who are no longer alive, sitting on a chair in your apartment. There are no boundaries in creativity.

Art is able not only to create a separate world inside the head, but also to change the real one. That is the power of art.
