About this Event
Dogs, horses, goats and many other animals find their way into the Army over time. Explore with us stories of these soldiers from the animal kingdom; family activities featuring animals in the military between 11am and 2pm on October 10th, 2025.
Special guest, author Kelsey Lonie will be joining us online at 1pm to present her upcoming book Whitey’s Journey, the inspiring true story of a loyal collie named Whitey, who befriended a troop of Canadian soldiers and served in the Second World War.
This family activity is for youth aged 8-12.
Please note: this is not a day camp, youth must be supervised by a chaperone at all times; colouring activities are available for younger children.
This is a free, drop-in program. No registration is required.
