"Quiet and reserved outside; but the most joyful church interior in London" - Nairn’s London.
St Cyprian Clarence Gate, with its striking white and gold decorative scheme, was designed by Scottish architect Sir John Ninian Comper. Built in 1903 in the Perpendicular style, St Cyprian's is regarded as one of London's most beautiful churches.

St Marylebone is the UK’s grandest Regency parish church and home to the St Marylebone Healing and Counselling Centre and an innovative NHS doctor’s surgery. The church was awarded the Open for Visitors Award for England and Church of the Year at the 2023 National Church Awards.

St James Spanish Place was built at the end of the nineteenth century for the Catholic worshipping community which had outgrown the Spanish Embassy chapels. One of the largest churches in London, and one of the grandest Catholic churches in the country, St James' architect Edward Goldie was inspired by the medieval architecture of English and French Gothic cathedrals.
Practicalities
Please wear comfortable footwear and come prepared for all weathers. The tour will involve walking between the churches but there will be opportunities to sit down at each. Please get in touch if you have any questions, [email protected].
