August 27 marks the 248 anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn.About this Event
Old Stone House & Washington Park partner with the Society of the Cincinnati of Maryland and the Michael A. Rawley American Legion Post to commemorate the Battle of Brooklyn.
Including reenactor regiments from the Battle of Brooklyn, battle strategies and daily life during the Revolutionary War, historical costumers, and a scavenger hunt along the Gowanus Road to The Green-Wood Cemetery (today’s 5th Avenue).
