**6PM DOORS // 8PM SHOW START // $15 ADVANCE (+fees) // $20 AT THE DOOR // $25 PREMIUM BALCONY SEATING (+fees)**Join indie-rock songstress **Mary Bue** for a live performance preview of her 9th album ***The Wildness of Living & Dying*** before its release this fall, featuring the musical artistry of **Jeremy Ylvisaker** (Alpha Consumer, Andrew Bird), **Steve Price** (The Suburbs, Rex Daisy), **Richard Medek** (Erik Koskinen, Kevin Kostner), **Shannon Frid-Rubin** (Cloud Cult), and **Julia Floberg** (Delphia Cello Quartet). Produced by Steve Price, The Wildness offers visions both poetic and crass, gentle chaos, heartbreak both cliche and unusual, catharsis, and some deep journeying through trauma. There will probably be emotions.
Also on the bill are **Molly Maher and the Gilded Quadriga**: “ Combining harp with electric guitar brings a fresh shine to Molly Maher's rootsy repertoire” and Milwaukee’s **Dandy L. Freling**, “A Boot Stompin' Finger Pickin' Folkie.”
**Mary Bue** is a songwriter, international retreat guide, and yoga teacher based out of Minneapolis, often roaming this beautiful world. Named Best Songwriter of 2020 by City Pages, her music touches upon archetypal themes of the human condition: love, loss, survival, dreams, and the natural world. A longtime student of yoga and psychology, Mary weaves sacred subject matter into her songs, seeking of deeper levels of consciousness, and concern for the environment mixed into oft-crass, real-world hue.
Prolific, lyrical, and gritty, Mary’s performances are warm and laced with quirky humor and stories of her adventures (and misadventures). A survivor and advocate, Mary is often invited to perform and speak about her healing process surrounding #MeToo of which she shares in her song “Petty Misdemeanor” (The Majesty of Beasts, 2017).
Combining harp with electric guitar brings a fresh shine to **Molly Maher's** rootsy repertoire. **"The Gilded Quadriga"** is Nikki Lemire, Erik Koskinen, Steve Murray and Richard Medic backing up Molly, pulling her into a lush grove where there's quiet places to dwell amongst rushing streams and minor thirds. If you want a succinct summary of this group , you could say that it exists at the crossroads of alt-country, rock, soul, and world music. Exploring uninhabited musical spaces together once every 2 years.
**Dandy L. Freling** is a Boot Stompin' Finger Pickin' Folkie. A highway-kind traveler combining a touch of the high and lonesome hollers of the Appalachian hill people with the low-down, dusty grooves of the cosmic cowboys, Dandy has created a unique songwriter banquet sure to satisfy the hunger of any weary passerby. A boot stompin' finger picker with remnant hollers of the greats of our past - Don’t be afraid to stop awhile, and fill up your plate, there's plenty to go around.
