Mary Brooksbank Creative Writing Workshop!

Come and join a creative writing workshop exploring the themes of Mary Brooksbank's life and expressing your own creative voice! You do not need any experience of creative writing or any knowledge about Mary Brooksbank, this will be a fun and accessible workshop.

All you need is something to write with and a willingness to give it a go!

Date: Thursday 23 April 2026

Time: 10.30 - 13.00 (2.5 hrs including break)

Location: Wighton Centre, Dundee Central Library (next to local history)

Cost: Suggested donation £5

The workshop will be led by playwright and creative writing tutor Matthew Knights. This is project of Knights Theatre supported by Creative Scotland, Dundee Heritage Trust and Leisure & Culture Dundee.
