For the first time ever, Insomnia Gallery is excited to present a local art showcase paying homage to the art of comic books! Since the golden age of comics in the 1930's to the silver screen blockbusters of today, for nearly 100 years we as a culture have been enthralled by this world of super heroes and super villains.
Join us on Friday April 11th as dozens of local Houston artists honor the two biggest companies in the comic world: Marvel and DC. Expect character portraits, famous landscapes, mashups and more!
We’ll have complimentary beverages from City Orchard, Bad Astronaut, Equal Parts and Eureka Heights as well as wine and batched cocktail options.
As with 99% of our events, this is a free event, an all ages event, a casual event, and dog friendly event! Art + music + food + friends = good vibes all night and the best way to kick off your weekend!
